FAQs

  1. Do I need to be signed in to use all commands?
Yes. /bolddesk-help works without account linkage, but commands like /bolddesk-create-ticket and personal notifications require a valid /bolddesk-sign-in session.

  2. What happens if I sign out?
After /bolddesk-sign-out, you can’t create new tickets or receive personal notifications in Slack until you sign in again.

  3. Can I attach files when creating a ticket from Slack?
If file uploads are enabled in your Slack workspace and supported by the BoldDesk form, files you attach will be included with the new ticket.

  4. Why don’t I see the create‑ticket form after running the command?
Ensure the BoldDesk app is installed in the workspace, you’re signed in via /bolddesk-sign-in, and that your Slack permissions allow interactive message actions.
