How to Mark a Conversation as Spam or Delete It in BoldDesk
BoldDesk allows agents to mark unwanted conversations as spam or delete conversations that are no longer required. These actions are available from the More options menu on the conversation details page.
This article explains how to mark a conversation as spam and how to delete a conversation in BoldDesk.
Prerequisites
Before marking a conversation as spam or deleting it, ensure that:
- You can access the required conversation.
- Your role has the applicable permission:
- Manage conversation spam to mark conversations as spam.
- Manage conversation deletion to delete conversations.
- You have reviewed the conversation and selected the appropriate action.
The available action depends on your role permissions. If Mark as Spam or Delete is not displayed in the More options menu, contact your BoldDesk administrator to review the applicable permission.
Mark a Conversation as Spam
To mark a conversation as spam:

Open the required conversation.

Click More options in the upper-right corner.
The conversation is marked as spam.
Delete a Conversation
To delete a conversation:

Click More options in the upper-right corner.

Select Delete.

Review the confirmation message.

Confirm the deletion.
Review the conversation before deleting it. Deleting a conversation can remove the conversation and its associated messages from BoldDesk.
