Customizing Feature Settings in Your Live Chat Widget

The BoldChat widget provides a seamless live chat experience with customizable features. The Feature Settings section allows you to enable or disable additional functionalities in your live chat widget.

Enabling Feature Settings in the Admin Portal

Follow these steps to access and configure feature settings:

1. Navigate to Admin > Chat > Live Chat.

2. Select an existing widget to edit or click Add Widget to create a new one.
3. Navigate to Widget Customization > Feature Settings.

Available Feature Settings

Notification Sound

Enable this setting to play a notification sound when a new message arrives in widget. If disabled, no sound will play.

Email Transcript

Allows users to send their full chat history to their email. This feature applies to email-based chats. Visitors can also use this feature if their chat is linked to an email address.

End Chat

Enables users to end an ongoing chat session. To continue the conversation, they can start a new chat or resume the existing one.
