Using Chat Copilot in BoldDesk to Generate AI-Powered Responses

BoldDesk includes a Chat Copilot feature that enables support agents to generate AI-based responses to customer queries with a single click. This helps streamline response time and improve consistency in replies.
How to Use Chat Copilot
- Open any chat conversation details page.
- In the right-side panel, click the third tab marked with the AI icon.
- The Chat Copilot interface will appear.
Generating a Response
- Click the “Generate a response to the customer query” button.
- The AI will analyze the conversation and generate a relevant response.

Knowledge Sources Used
The AI generates responses based solely on your configured private knowledge sources in BoldDesk, including:
- BoldDesk Knowledge Base articles
- Custom Answers
- Configured web pages
- Uploaded documents or files
Note: The AI does not use public or external knowledge sources. This ensures that responses remain accurate and specific to your organization, avoiding the risk of hallucinated or irrelevant content.
Asking Additional Questions
You can also ask the AI additional or follow-up questions directly through the Chat Copilot interface. It will return responses using the same internal knowledge sources.
