How to Set the Language for AI Assist in BoldDesk

BoldDesk’s AI Assist adapts to the language set in each agent’s profile, switching the portal and AI Assist to that language. There’s no direct setting to choose the language AI Assist uses. This setting is agent-specific, allowing individual preferences without impacting others. Agents can update the language for themselves, or administrators can update language preferences on behalf of the agents.
How agents set their preferred language
- Click on your Profile Icon and select View Profile & Settings to access the personal settings page.
- In the Localization Setting section, select the desired language from the Language field’s dropdown options.
- Press Update to apply and save the updates.
How admins configure language for other agents
- Go to the Admin Center, then select Agents to view the list of agents.
- Click on the agent’s name to open their profile page.
- In the top-right corner, click Edit.
- Find the Language field and choose the preferred language from the list.
- Click Update to save your changes.
For any agent to select a preferred language among the supported languages, the multi-language feature must be enabled.
