Using the Search Option in the Contacts Module

The search option in the contact module allows agents to search for contacts using their name and email address only. Searching by contact ID is not supported by this option.
Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Contact Module > Contacts.
  2. On the list page that opens, type the name or email address in the search bar and press Enter to see the search result.
  3. Contacts whose name or email matches the search text will be listed based.

The search feature does not support searching for contacts by phone number. To see contacts based on phone number, use the advanced filter.

Searching for Contacts Using the Filter Option

You can filter contacts based on system and custom field values by utilizing the advanced filters located on the contacts listing page. These filters can also be saved as views, allowing you to easily access them in the future.

To filter contacts, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Contacts module and select Contacts option from the menu.
  2. On the contacts listing page, click the Filter icon to open the advanced filter panel.
  3. Select the filter criteria using both the system-defined and custom fields.
  4. Click Apply to view the filtered list of contacts.
  5. To save this view, use the Save As button and provide the View Name.
  6. Proceed to choose the Access Scope, Sorting Order and click Save.
