How to Verify a Contact Manually

Updated:

In BoldDesk, contacts may remain Unverified until they complete an email-based verification flow. When you need to grant a contact verified status immediately (for example, to allow portal access or complete an onboarding step), you can use Verify Manually. This action sets the contact’s verification status to Verified, updates the Verified status tag on the contact profile, and records the action in the contact’s History for audit visibility.

This article explains when the Verify Manually option is available, the permission required to use it, and the two supported ways to manually verify a contact—either from the Contact Profile or directly from the Contact List.

When the “Verify Manually” option is available

The Verify Manually action is not shown when the contact is already in any of these states:

  • Deleted
