The homepage also provides an agent profile icon from where they can navigate back to BoldDesk and customize their personal settings.

Agent Builder

This is a workspace in which you can design, configure, and publish AI agents. You can perform the following configurations from this page.

  • All AI 2.0 Agents created directly from the AI Agent creation page will not be visible in the BoldDesk portal unless they are published and deployed to channels. The deployment process maps them to a brand in BoldDesk, making them visible in BoldDesk.
  • You can also navigate the created AI Agents from this page using the search icon. You can choose to view all AI Agents, Draft AI Agents, or Published AI Agents by clicking on the respective view.

Sort

You can sort the AI Agents by clicking on the sort option. You can apply both sort by and sort order as discussed below.

Category Option Description
Sort By Agent Name Sorts AI Agents based on the associated agent’s name.
Created On Sorts AI Agents by the date they were created.
Last Modified On Sorts AI Agents by the most recent update date (default selection).
Sort Order Ascending (↑) Displays results from oldest to newest or A to Z, based on the selected field.
Descending (↓) Displays results from newest to oldest or Z to A (default selection).

Libraries

From the library, you can securely store and manage files, text, web content, and Q&As. All content added in your library can be used in particular AI Agent libraries.

System Libraries

System libraries include knowledge sources that have been migrated into AI 2.0. The Libraries section on the AI 2.0 Agent Creation Page includes two system libraries: one holds private Knowledge sources, and the other contains public Knowledge sources. The purpose of having these two system libraries is to control which knowledge articles are available to the AI agent based on their visibility settings in BoldDesk.

  • Private Library: This library includes knowledge base articles with “Any Agents” and “Logged-in Users” visibility. These articles are intended for internal or authenticated users and are not publicly accessible.
  • Public Library: This library includes only knowledge base articles with “Any Users” visibility, making them publicly accessible.

Once you have added these System libraries, they can’t be unlinked.

By separating articles into these two libraries, it ensures that the AI agent accesses only the appropriate set of articles based on the selected library. This prevents public agents from using private knowledge while still allowing internal agents to access both public and private content when configured accordingly. AI Tools

AI tools are used to connect the AI agents to external systems or services (via APIs or servers). Link MCP Servers and AI Actions to build powerful AI Agents. You can create both MCP servers and API Actions under AI Tools in the BoldAgent AI builder portal. Only the tools added here will be available for selection for each AI Agent. Settings

This is where you configure your workspace and agent preferences. Settings is categorized into AI Models and Audit Logs.

AI Models

The AI Models section allows administrators to manage the availability of different AI models used within the system. You can enable or disable specific models based on your requirements, helping control which models are accessible for AI-powered features. The available settings on this page include;

  • View AI Providers and Models: Displays supported providers (for example, Azure OpenAI) and their available model variants.

  • Enable/Disable Models: Toggle individual models (such as GPT-5.4, GPT-5.2, GPT-5.4 Mini, and GPT-5.4 Nano) to control their usage.

Audit Logs

The Audit Logs section provides a detailed record of system activities, capturing what changes were made, when they occurred, and who performed them. This helps with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining accountability. Available settings on this page:

  • Filter by Date Range: View logs within a specific time period.
  • Filter by Modules: Narrow results based on modules (for example, AI Agent).
  • Filter by Activity: Filter actions such as creation, deletion, or updates.
  • Filter by Users: View activities performed by specific users.
  • View Log Details: Access detailed information for each entry, including a summary of the action performed.

Troubleshooting

AI 2.0 Agents are not visible in BoldDesk

  • Confirm the AI 2.0 Agent is published.
  • Confirm the AI 2.0 Agent is deployed to channels.
  • Confirm deployment mapped the AI agent to the correct brand in BoldDesk.

A tool is not available when configuring an AI 2.0 Agent

  • Confirm the MCP server or API Action was created under AI Tools in the builder portal.
  • Confirm the tool exists in AI Tools, because only tools added there are available for AI agent selection.
