Direct Portal Access: Logging in Without Navigating to the Sign-In Page

Published:

To enhance portal access and streamline the user experience, consider configuring your login settings to direct users straight into the portal upon sign-in.
Users can seamlessly access their portal without navigating through the sign-in page by turning off unnecessary login options and enabling a single preferred method.

Check out this video tutorial for more details.

You can’t view tickets in the portal without signing in, but you can sign in without landing on the sign-in page using SSO or social login.

Available login methods

  1. Form Login (Using Username and Password)
  2. Social Login
    • Facebook
    • Google
    • Microsoft
  3. Single Sign-On (SSO)
    • Open ID
    • OAuth 2.0

It’s recommended to activate only one login method from the available options (excluding Form Login) to bypass the sign-in page, ensuring direct access to the portal upon login.

Implementing these changes will require navigating to the login settings page:

  • For Customer Portal: Navigate to Admin> Customer Portal > Login Tab and enable any one of the login options.

  • Here, for example, the Microsoft login option is enabled. You can enable any one of the login options according to your need.
  • The process for the agent portal is similar to the one for the customer portal.
