  • At present, the BoldDesk Agent portal does not support the Hebrew language because it lacks complete compatibility with Right-to-Left (RTL) languages. This limitation may affect usability for users of RTL languages. However, Hebrew is supported in the customer portal. Furthermore, the agent portal offers an option to update content in Right-to-Left (RTL) format directly through the editor.
  • The Scale plan (legacy) does not offer multilingual support. However, you may select a primary language from the supported options. Only the Momentum (legacy) and Enterprise plans provide multilingual support.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I use Hebrew in the agent portal?
No. Hebrew is supported only in the Customer Portal. The Agent portal does not fully support RTL languages, but the editor allows manual RTL formatting.

  2. Which plans support multiple languages?
Only Momentum (legacy) and Enterprise support multilingual. Scale (legacy) supports only a single primary language.

  3. How do I change the primary language in BoldDesk?
You can select a primary language during initial setup or update the primary language later from language settings, provided the multi-language feature is enabled for the account/plan.

  4. Does BoldDesk support both Simplified and Traditional Chinese?
Yes. Chinese (Simplified) uses zh, and Chinese (Traditional) uses zh-Hant.

  5. Are language codes always region-specific (for example, et-EE)?
No. Some languages use region-specific codes (for example, et-EE, lt-LT, nb-NO, id-ID), while others use a base language code (for example, fr, de, es).

  6. Does the RTL limitation affect the Customer Portal?
The stated limitation is specific to the Agent portal. The Customer Portal supports Hebrew.
