How to Send a Reminder Mail for an Approval Request

Manual approval reminders help you remind an approver to approve a request. For sending reminders, you have two options.
- Send a reminder to all approvers
- Send a reminder to a specific approver

Sending a reminder to all
To send a reminder email to all approvers, follow the given steps:
- Select the Approvals tab in the ticket where you mapped the approval request. A reminder icon appears next to the approval request.
- Click the Reminder icon and select the Yes button in the dialog box to send a reminder to all approvers.
Once you have sent a reminder, this action is disabled for the next 30 minutes. Details of the reminder are shown in the tooltip when you hover over the reminder icon.
The approvers will receive a reminder email.
The reminder email will only be sent to approvers who have not yet been reminded and those who have pending approvals.
Once you send a reminder, you have to wait 30 minutes before sending another reminder.
Sending a reminder to a specific approver
To send a reminder email to a specific approver, follow the given steps:
- Select the Approvals tab in the ticket where you mapped the approval request.
- The reminder icon appears for all approvers who have pending requests.
- Click the Reminder icon and select the Yes button in the dialog box to send a reminder to the specific approver.
Only the selected approver will receive the reminder email.
