How to Enforce SEO for Knowledge Base Articles
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility and ranking of an article on search engine results pages (SERPs). You can enforce SEO at your organization level using the portal knowledge base settings.
Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), we can generate comprehensive and engaging meta descriptions, along with well-structured titles for various knowledge base articles.
You can enable or disable the Mandatory to fill SEO Attributes option in the portal settings. By enabling this option, it prompts the user to fill in the following SEO-related attributes:

How to Enable “Mandatory to fill SEO Attributes”
Follow the given steps to enable the Mandatory to Fill SEO Attributes option:

Navigate to Admin module > Agent Portal > Knowledge Base.

In the Knowledge Base tab, enable the option under Enforce SEO-related attributes.
This enforcement will only apply to publicly visible articles whose status isn’t Draft.
SEO attribute validation (Meta Title / Meta Description)
When updating Meta Title or Meta Description in the SEO tab of a Knowledge Base article, BoldDesk validates the value before saving. If the value contains an unsupported character, BoldDesk displays a validation error under the field indicating that the value cannot contain the specific character (for example: “Invalid or value cannot contain ‘<’.”).
What to do: Remove or replace the exact character shown in the error message, then save again.
