How to Add Work Logs to Activities in BoldDesk
Agents can track the time spent on an activity by adding a work log. A single activity can contain multiple work logs, and those work logs can be added by the same agent or by different agents.
This article explains where to add a work log, what fields are available, where saved work logs appear, and who can edit or delete them.

Add a work log from the activity details page
You can add a work log directly from the activity details page in either of the following ways:
- by selecting Log Work from the activity header
- by opening the Worklog tab and selecting Add Worklog
Method 1. Use the Log Work button in the activity header

Open the required activity.

Select Log Work from the top action bar.

Enter the work log details.

Select Save.
Method 2. Use the Add Worklog button from the Worklog tab

Open the required activity.

Select the Worklog tab.

Select Add Worklog.

Enter the work log details.

Add a work log from the activity list page
You can also add a work log directly from the activity list page without opening the activity details page.

Open the Activities list page.

Locate the required activity.

Open the Quick Action menu for that activity.

Select Log Work.

Enter the work log details.

Select Save.
Work log fields
When adding a work log, you can enter the following fields:

Where saved work logs appear
After you save a work log, it appears in the activity Worklog tab.
Each work log is listed as a separate entry under the Worklog tab, which helps agents review all logged work for the activity in one place.
From the Worklog tab, agents can manage existing work logs using the available actions:
- Edit a work log
- Delete a work log
Only the agent who created the work log can edit or delete that entry. If multiple agents add work logs to the same activity, each agent can manage only their own work log entries.
