How to Change the Number of Tickets Displayed per Page in BoldDesk
The Ticket Page Count setting determines how many tickets are displayed on each page of the ticket list in the BoldDesk Agent Portal. Adjusting this setting can help agents review more tickets on one page and reduce the need to move between multiple pages.
Each agent can configure a personal ticket page count or inherit the organization-wide ticket preference configured by an administrator. BoldDesk supports displaying between 15 and 100 tickets per page.
Change the Ticket Page Count
To change the number of tickets displayed per page:
-
Click your profile avatar in the upper-right corner.
-
Select View Profile & Settings.
-
On the Personal Settings page, open the General tab.
-
Under Ticket Settings, locate Ticket Page Count.
-
Select the number of tickets you want to display on each page.
-
Save the changes, if prompted.
The selected ticket page count is applied to the ticket list pages in the Agent Portal.
The available Ticket Page Count values range from 15 to 100 tickets per page.
Use the Organization-Wide Ticket Page Count
BoldDesk administrators can configure an organization-wide default ticket page count. Agents can either inherit the organization-wide value or select a different value in their personal settings.
If Inherit from global settings is selected, BoldDesk applies the ticket page count configured by the administrator.
If a specific page count is selected in personal settings, the agent’s personal preference overrides the organization-wide value.
Changing the Ticket Page Count in Personal Settings affects only the signed-in agent’s account. It does not change the ticket page count for other agents.
Troubleshooting
The Selected Ticket Page Count Is Not Applied
Confirm that:
- The required value was selected under Personal Settings > General > Ticket Settings.
- The personal settings changes were saved.
- The ticket list page was refreshed.
- A specific value is selected instead of Inherit from global settings.
- The selected ticket view contains enough tickets to display the configured number.
The Ticket List Displays Fewer Tickets Than the Selected Page Count
The Ticket Page Count specifies the maximum number of tickets displayed on one page. If the selected ticket view contains fewer matching tickets, BoldDesk displays only the available tickets.
Filters, search terms, ticket access permissions, and the selected ticket view can also reduce the number of tickets displayed.
The Organization-Wide Value Is Applied Instead of the Personal Value
Open Personal Settings > General and confirm that a specific Ticket Page Count is selected. If Inherit from global settings is selected, BoldDesk uses the organization-wide ticket preference.
Other Agents Do Not See the Same Ticket Page Count
Personal settings apply only to the signed-in agent. Each agent must configure the preferred ticket page count or inherit the organization-wide setting.
