Setup Stripe Integration With BoldDesk

The Stripe integration allows support agents to access customers’ subscription details, allowing them to manage and process refunds from BoldDesk®.

Connect Stripe account

  1. Log into your Stripe dashboard account and navigate to Stripe > Developers > API keys.

  2. Copy the secret key present in the API keys section for configuring Stripe in the BoldDesk® marketplace.

Install and configure Stripe

  1. Go to Admin menu > Marketplace.
  2. Search for and select the Stripe app.

  3. Click Install to initiate the installation of the Stripe app.
  4. Enter the Stripe account name and its API key, then select Verify & continue.

  5. Configure app permissions - The Stripe app’s visibility depends on role permissions and target modules.
    All agents: By selecting this option, you make the app accessible to all users, regardless of their role or permissions.
    Specific roles: Opting for this choice allows you to restrict the app’s visibility to users who hold specific roles or permissions within your organization.
    Target Modules: By selecting this option, you make the app visible in modules like ticket, contact and chat.

Manage the Stripe account

How to connect multiple accounts

To add additional Stripe accounts in BoldDesk®, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin menu > My Apps > Stripe> Edit to open the Stripe page.
  2. Click Add Account

Editing Stripe accounts

To edit a Stripe account:

  1. Click Admin menu > Marketplace> Stripe> Edit.
  2. Click the kebab icon under Action and select Edit to go to the Edit Account page.
  3. Modify the account details on the Edit Account page.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting a Stripe account

Follow these steps to delete a Stripe account:

  1. Click Admin menu > Marketplace> Stripe> Edit.
  2. Click the kebab icon under Action and select Delete.

  3. Click Yes, Delete in the confirmation dialog to delete the account.

Deactivating a Stripe account

Follow these steps to deactivate a Stripe account:

  1. Click Admin menu > Marketplace> Stripe> Edit.
  2. Click the kebab icon under Action and select Deactivate.

  3. Click Yes, Deactivate in the confirmation dialog to deactivate the Stripe account.

Activating a Stripe account

Follow these steps to activate a Stripe account:

  1. Click Admin menu > Marketplace> Stripe> Edit.
  2. Click the kebab icon under Action and select Activate

  3. Click Yes, Activate in the confirmation dialog to activate the Stripe account.
