How to Add a Payment Method

Adding a payment method to the WhatsApp Cloud API integration is essential to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted process.
A valid payment method is required to activate and manage phone numbers within the Cloud API. Without it, you cannot send or receive messages, and the phone numbers associated with your account may experience service disruptions.

Ways for adding a payment method

Follow these steps to add a phone number to WhatsApp Cloud API.

1. Log in to the Meta developer site.
2. Go to the My Apps tab.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the configured app.
   
   
   
   
4. Go to the WhatsApp section and select API Setup.
   
   
   
   
5. On the right, click the Add payment method button, or scroll up to find a warning box that contains an Add payment method option.
   
   
   
   
6. It will redirect you to meta business manager, and then click on Payment Settings.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on Add payment method.
   
   
   
   
8. Select country and time zone and click on Next.
   
   
   
   
9. Confirm your payment method and click Next.
   
   
   
   
10. Enter your card details correctly and click Save to complete the process.
