How to Access and Analyze Portal Login Logs for Troubleshooting

To view and diagnose login failures on a portal, you can access the Access log in the audit logs. These logs provide detailed information about each login attempt, which can help identify the root cause of the issue. They provide details such as the date and time of the action, the IP address of the user, the category of the action, the brand name, and the source of login (e.g., form login or social login). You can filter these logs based on date, event category, and username.

Steps to Access Portal Login Logs:

  1. Log into the Admin Module
  2. Navigate to the Audit Logs Section
  3. Select Access Logs

To access audit logs, ensure that the ‘View audit logs’ permission is enabled in the roles and permissions section.
