Installing and Configuring the Asana Integration

The Asana integration helps the support team and product engineers collaborate efficiently by keeping track of the latest status of tasks.

Key Features:

  • Create a link between existing tasks and tickets.
  • Sync tasks such as comments, status, and priority with tickets.
  • View Asana task details such as title, description, and assignee on the ticket page.

Install and configure Asana app in BoldDesk

To install the Asana integration, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin -> Marketplace.
  2. Search for and select Asana app.
  3. Click Install.

  4. Choose a Workspace from the list and map the associated Projects.

  5. Select the Actions to be executed when a BoldDesk event occurs or vice versa.

  6. In the Permission tab, under App Visibility, Select the roles based on read and write access for the Asana integration, then click Save.

Configure Sync Actions

You can control the syncing of data between Asana and BoldDesk by selecting actions.

Comments Sync

When you add a private note or update the status/priority of a ticket, you can select an action to add a comment to the Asana task and vice versa.

Mapping Workspaces and Projects

The data from the selected projects can only be linked and synchronized with BoldDesk tickets.
