Sorting Chat Conversations

This article explains how to sort chat conversations by different fields in ascending or descending order, helping you organize and manage them efficiently.
- Click on the Sort icon next to Chat Views dropdown in the left-side conversation panel.
- Select a field and sorting order (Ascending or Descending) to update the conversation list accordingly.
Sorting Fields
You can sort conversations based on the following fields:
- Last Message – Sorts by the most recent message timestamp.
- Created – Sorts by the conversation’s creation date and time.
- Status – Groups conversations by their current status (e.g., Open, Closed, Pending).
- Source – Sorts by the communication channel (e.g., Live Chat, Instagram, WhatsApp).
- Priority – Orders conversations by priority level (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
Sorting Order
- Ascending – Sorts from oldest to newest or lowest to highest, depending on the field.
- Descending – Sorts from newest to oldest or highest to lowest, depending on the field.
