How to Update a Customer's Email in a Chat

You may want to update the customer’s email in chat to help you maintain accurate records for communication.

  1. Open the chat:
    Log in and access the chat module as an agent. Open the chat in which you want to edit the requester.
  2. Locate the Customer Profile:
    Navigate to the requester details where you can view the profiles of the chat.
  3. Click on the requester details name to open the contact profile
    Edit, and after updating the email, click the ‘Update’ button to apply the changes. Confirm that the update was successful by checking the profile again.
