Activity logs in BoldDesk provide a detailed history of changes and actions performed within the platform. This feature helps users monitor updates, identify modifications, and ensure accountability.

Steps to Track Changes Using Activity Logs

  1. Access the Activity Logs

    • Navigate to the Admin Settings .
    • Locate the Activity Logs option in the menu.
  2. Filter the Logs

    • Use the filtering options to narrow down the logs based on specific criteria such as date, user, Event Category or Event Type
    • Common filters include:
      • Date Range: Select the time frame to view logs within a specific period.
      • User: Identify actions performed by a particular user.
      • Event Type: Focus on specific activities like ticket updates, status changes, or comment additions.
  3. Review the Log Details

    • Each log entry provides detailed information, including:
      • Date: When the action occurred.
      • User: Who performed the action.
      • Summary: Description of the action.
    • Click on a specific log entry for more in-depth information if available.
