How to Activate, Deactivate, or Delete a Web Form in BoldDesk
In BoldDesk, you can manage the lifecycle of a Web Form from the Web Forms module by activating, deactivating, or deleting it.
- Deactivate a Web Form when you want to stop using it without removing it permanently.
- Activate a Web Form when you want to restore a previously deactivated form.
- Delete a Web Form when you want to permanently remove it from BoldDesk.
Prerequisite
To activate, deactivate, or delete a Web Form, the agent’s role must include the Manage settings permission.
Deactivate a Web Form
Use this action when you want to remove a Web Form from active use without permanently deleting it.
Steps to deactivate a Web Form

Open Web Forms.

On the Web Form you want to deactivate, click the more options (three-dot) icon.

Select Deactivate.

In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Deactivate.
Activate a Web Form
Use this action when you want to restore a Web Form from the Inactive category and make it active again.
Steps to activate a Web Form

Open Web Forms.

Select the Inactive tab.

On the Web Form you want to activate, click the more options (three-dot) icon.

Select Activate.

In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Activate.
Delete a Web Form
Use this action when you want to permanently remove a Web Form from BoldDesk.

What happens when I deactivate a Web Form in BoldDesk?
When you deactivate a Web Form, BoldDesk removes it from the active list and moves it to the Inactive category. The Web Form is not deleted and can be activated again later. -
