How AI Credits Are Used

AI credits are the usage units consumed whenever an AI-powered response is generated by the BoldDesk AI Agent. Each response deducts credits based on:

  • Complexity of the query
  • Length and detail of the AI-generated response

Free AI Credits by Plan

BoldDesk provides limited free AI credits every billing cycle based on your plan and subscription status. These credits reset automatically at the start of each cycle.

Free Trial Plans

During the trial period, you receive the following limited free AI credits. Trial credits are provided to help you evaluate the AI Agent features and expire at the end of the trial period.

How Auto-Purchase Works

Auto-purchase ensures your AI Agent remains operational without interruption. It allows seamless continuation of AI responses while giving you full control over your AI spending.

What Happens When You Run Out of Credits?

You will be notified when your credit usage hits certain thresholds based on your selected settings. These thresholds include 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%, with 100% serving as the default alert if no custom limit is set. You may choose one threshold for customized alerts, and you will also receive notifications at the default 100% level, making it two alerts.

After 100% Usage

  • AI responses pause and stop generating; however, existing manual and non-AI workflows still continue to operate.

AI Features Resume When:

  • Your free credits reset on the cycle date or when you purchase additional credits.
