How to Send Verification or Invitation Emails to Contacts

Sometimes, customers may report cases of unreceived invitation/verification emails sent when a new account is created. Agents can resend the verification email to the unverified contacts by following these steps:

  1. Go to Contacts module > Contacts > Unverified Contacts.

  2. Click on More Action and select Send verification. A verification email will be sent to the contact.

Alternatively, you can use the Send Verification Email option in the Contact profile page.

  • This option will not be visible if the contact is already verified, deleted, or blocked.
  • Contacts cannot be invited through the customer portal. Instead, they can sign up directly, be added via the Contacts module, or be created automatically when they email the support address. A verification email is sent to activate their account.

To perform this action, an agent should have the Create or edit contact permission enabled for them.

To send the verification emails to contacts, enable the Contact Verification and Contact Activation event notifications under the contacts tab in the email notifications settings.
