How to Resize Images in BoldDesk KB Articles Using the WYSIWYG Editor

You can resize images in BoldDesk Knowledge Base (KB) articles using the WYSIWYG Editor. This allows you to adjust image dimensions for better readability and consistent formatting.

Resize an image by selecting it in the editor and either:

  • Setting exact dimensions (pixels), or
  • Dragging its corners for proportional resizing

Image resizing is not supported in the Markdown editor.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the BoldDesk Knowledge Base with permission to create or edit articles
  • The article must be opened in the WYSIWYG Editor

Steps to Resize Images

  1. Open the Knowledge Base article you want to edit
  2. Switch from Markdown to the WYSIWYG Editor
  3. Click the image to select it
  4. Use one of the following methods to resize:

Method 1. Resize Using Dimensions (Pixels)

  • Click the image
  • Select the Change Size icon

  • In the Image Size popup, enter the desired Width or Height (in pixels)

  • Click Update to apply the changes

Method 2. Resize by Dragging

  • Click the image to display resize handles
  • Drag a corner handle inward to reduce the image size proportionally
