How to Export Agents in BoldDesk
BoldDesk lets you export agent data directly from the Agents page. This is useful for administrators who need to analyze agent information, maintain records, or share data with stakeholders.
Exporting the agents list supports reporting, auditing, and bulk updates. You can export selected columns to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, and the file is generated from your current filters and tab selection, then emailed to the exporting agent’s email address. Each export includes up to 5,000 records, and the exporting agent must have the Manage agents permission.
Steps to Export Agents

Go to Admin from the left sidebar.

Under Users and Permissions, select Agents.

On the Agents listing page, (optionally) select a tab (e.g., Active, All, Verified, Unverified, or Deactivated) or apply filters to scope your export.

Click Export.
In the Export Agents dialog:

Use Select All to export all available fields, or tick only the fields you need.

You can quickly find fields using the Search bar.

Click Next.

Configure export settings:
- Export as: Choose Excel (.xlsx) or CSV.
- Email Subject (optional): Add a subject to help identify the export email.
- CCs (optional): Add up to 48 CC recipients (e.g., team leads).
- Time Zone: Select the time zone for time-based fields (e.g., UTC+03:00 – Nairobi).
- (Optional) Export time fields in minutes format if you need durations as numeric values.
- Click Export.
BoldDesk generates the file using your current filters and emails a download link to exporting agent’s email address.
Large exports may take a few minutes to arrive, depending on the number of records and selected columns.
