How to Activate, Deactivate or Delete a Live Chat Widget

Activate: Enable the live chat widget on your website or help center to allow real-time customer interactions.
Deactivate: Temporarily disables the widget when unnecessary while preserving its settings for future use.
Delete: Permanently remove the widget from your site if it is no longer required.
Follow these steps to manage your live chat widget and enhance customer engagement efficiently.
Deactivating a live chat widget
To deactivate a chat widget, follow the given steps:
- Go to the Admin section and click on the Live Chat page located under the Chat tab in the Configuration menu.
- Click the more options menu and select Deactivate for a confirmation dialog.
- On the confirmation dialog, click the Yes, Deactivate button.
Note: The deactivated chat widgets will be displayed in the Inactive category.
Activating a live chat widget
To activate a chat widget, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Admin section and click on the Live Chat page located under the Chat tab in the Configuration menu.
- Click the more option menu (⁝) and select Activate for a confirmation dialog to appear.
- Click the Yes, Activate button in the confirmation dialog.
Deleting a live chat widget
To delete the chat widget, follow the given steps:
- Go to the Admin section and click on the Live Chat page located under the Chat tab in the Configurations menu.
- Click the more options menu and select Delete. The confirmation dialog appears.
- Click the Yes, Delete button in the confirmation dialog.
Note: The chat widget will be permanently deleted, and you cannot restore it.
