Setup the Office 365 Calendar for Agent

Once the Office 365 Calendar has been installed at the administrative level, you may follow these steps to set it up in your personal settings.

Authorizing the Office 365 Calendar App

To authorize the Office 365 Calendar app, follow the given steps:

  1. Click the Profile icon in the top-right corner as indicated below.

  2. Select Personal Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Apps tab in personal settings.

  4. If the Authorize button in your personal settings is disabled, please reach out to your Administrator.

  5. Once enabled, please click the Authorize button to proceed. You will be redirected to the Microsoft website.

  6. Enter your Microsoft email ID, and then click Next to proceed.

After completing the authorization, the ‘Enable’ toggle will activate automatically (if no other calendar app is enabled).

Note: Task synchronization will start only after this toggle is enabled.

Re-Authorizing the Office 365 Calendar

Click the Re-Authorize button in the Apps section to restart the authentication process.

Revoking the Office 365 Calendar App

Click the Revoke button in the Apps section to cancel the authentication.

1. Why is the calendar app Authorize button is disabled in personal settings?
App installation: The Calendar app might not be installed from the BoldDesk marketplace.
Permissions: You might not have the necessary permissions to access the Calendar app.

2. What happens if the Calendar app toggle is turned off?
If the Calendar app toggle is off, tasks will not synchronize with your Office 365 Calendar.
