Manage WooCommerce within BoldDesk

Once the WooCommerce app is installed, you can view customer and order information on the ticket, contact, and chat module, based on your configuration choices.

View WooCommerce information

To view WooCommerce information on a ticket, follow these steps:

  1. Open a ticket to view the details.
  2. Click on the Apps section in the right sidebar and open the WooCommerce app.
  3. Select the desired Store to view its details.

Order Cancellations

BoldDesk empowers WooCommerce users to initiate the cancel with refund process.

Limitations

After a customer has made payment for their order and the items have been shipped or delivered, the option to cancel the order is disabled to avoid cancellations.

Follow these steps to cancel an order:

  1. Open the WooCommerce app by selecting the Apps section in the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the WooCommerce tab to view configured stores.
  3. Choose the desired Store and select the order you wish to cancel.
  4. Click Cancel Order to initiate the cancellation.
  5. Choose Total Amount Refund if you wish to request a Refund along with the cancellation.
  6. Enter the Reason for the cancellation.
  7. Click Cancel Order button to cancel the order.

Order Refunds

BoldDesk empowers WooCommerce users to initiate the refund process.

Limitations

BoldDesk facilitates the refund process for WooCommerce. If the customer has not made payment for the order, the refund order button is disabled since the amount is not refundable in such cases.

Follow these steps to refund an order:

  1. Click on the Apps section in the sidebar and open the WooCommerce app.
  2. In the WooCommerce tab, select the Store and submit the refund request.
  3. Click Refund Order to begin the refund process.
  4. Choose the number of items to be refunded. You can partially refund individual items or quantities.
  5. If needed, select the Shipping Refund option to return the shipping fees.
  6. Select the Fee Refund option if there are applicable fees to be refunded.
  7. If you want to return the refunded items to inventory, select Restock item, add to inventory.
  8. Enter the Reason for the refund.
  9. Click Refund to complete the process.
