Generating Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in WooCommerce
- Login to your WordPress account and go to WooCommerce -> Setting .
- Navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Click the REST API section, and then select Add Key.
- Choose a user and set the permission to Read/Write.
- Click Generate API Key.
- Once the Consumer key and Consumer secret were generated. Copy them for configuring WooCommerce app in BoldDesk.
Install and configure WooCommerce app in BoldDesk
- Go to Admin -> Marketplace.
- Search for and select the WooCommerce app
- Click the Install button of the WooCommerce app.
- Configure Account - Enter the WooCommerce Store Name, Store URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret and then click Verify & Continue.
- Configure app permissions - The WooCommerce app’s visibility depends on role permissions and target modules.
All agents: By selecting this option, you make the app accessible to all users, regardless of their role or permissions.
Specific roles: Opting for this choice allows you to restrict the app’s visibility to users who hold specific roles or permissions within your organization.
Target Modules: By selecting this option, you make the app visible in modules like ticket, contact and chat.
- Click Save.
Manage the WooCommerce store
How to connect multiple stores
To add multiple WooCommerce stores in BoldDesk, follow these steps:
- Go to Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce and click Manage.
- Click Add Store.
Editing the details of WooCommerce store
Follow these steps to edit a WooCommerce store:
- Go to Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce and click Manage.
- Click on three dots under the Action column and select Edit to open the store’s edit page.
- Modify the store details on the Edit Store page.
- Click Save.
Deleting WooCommerce store
Follow these steps to delete a WooCommerce store:
- Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce > Manage.
- Click on three dots under the Action column and select Delete.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Delete to delete the WooCommerce store.
Deactivating WooCommerce store
Follow these steps to deactivate a WooCommerce store.
- Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce -> Manage.
- Click on three dots under the Action column and select Deactivate.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Deactivate to deactivate the WooCommerce store.
Activating WooCommerce store
Follow these steps to activate WooCommerce notification:
- Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce -> Edit.
- Click on three dots under the Action column and select Activate.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Activate to activate the WooCommerce store.
