How to Set Up Automatic BCC for All Outgoing Emails in BoldDesk

Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) is an email feature that allows the sender to include recipients in an email without revealing their addresses to others. This is useful for maintaining privacy and discretion in communication

In BoldDesk, you can configure Auto-BCC to automatically include specific email addresses in all outgoing messages. This ensures that every email sent from BoldDesk is copied to designated recipients for purposes compliance, auditing, or record-keeping.

Let’s say you want to keep your manager informed about all customer interactions related to support tickets. By setting up Auto-BCC, the system automatically sends them a copy of every outgoing email triggered by ticket updates like replies, status changes, or resolutions, without needing to manually add them each time.

To set up auto-BCC, follow these steps:

  1. As an Admin, navigate to the Admin center.
  2. Select Emails under the Channels.
  3. Navigate to Configurations tab and find the Auto BCC Emails section.
  4. Add the email addresses to be included in the BCC.
  5. Click on Update to save the changes.

The Auto-BCC setting will be applied globally for every outgoing email and cannot be customized for specific events or tickets.
