Admin Guide: Set Up Your LINE Account in the LINE Developer Portal.

This guide walks administrators through setting up a LINE account in the LINE Developer Portal, including login, account linking, provider/channel creation, and role management.

Steps to Set Up:

  1. Visit the LINE Developers Console

  2. Click Log in to Console in the top-right corner.

  3. If you are a first-time user, click Create my account, follow the process, and fill in the required information. Your LINE account will be linked to your Business ID.

  1. Create Provider and Channel by filling in required details and submit
  • Provider: A container for apps/services
  • Channel: Choose type (Messaging API, LINE Login, MINI App)

  1. Go to Provider Settings and assign roles if needed.

  2. Navigate to: Providers → Channel → Basic settings

    • Copy the Channel ID and Channel Secret.
    • These are needed when configuring the LINE app in BoldDesk.
  3. Navigate to: Providers → Channel → Messaging API

    • Configure the Webhook URL provided during BoldDesk setup.
    • Toggle Use Webhook to Enabled
    • Optionally, enable Webhook Redelivery to retry failed webhook deliveries 1
