How to allow an end user to download an attachment without having to login

By default, any file attached to a ticket requires users to first login into the system. However, if you want to change settings to allow anyone with the file link to download the file without having to log in, then there is a setting available in Admin Module.
Follow the given steps to change the download settings

Go to Admin Centre > Customer Portal Settings -> Select the appropriate brand for which you need to change the file download settings.

Scroll to the File Download Settings section and change the file download settings to Allow anyone who has a file download link to download the file without having to log in.
Note:
Once this setting is updated, any user with a file download link can download the file, subject to the following conditions:
- When anonymous download settings are enabled, a security token is added to the URL. This prevents end users from downloading additional attachments by altering the attachment number. An end user will only have access to file attachments associated with the security token of their specific ticket; they cannot access attachments from other tickets.
- Accessing files via email. If the file attachment exceeds 20 MB, it will be sent as a URL (hyperlink) in the email. Normally, the end user would need to log in to access it. However, with this setting enabled, no login is required.
