Set up Pipedrive app with BoldDesk

Pipedrive is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that offers various tools to help businesses simplify their sales processes, interact with customers, and close deals effectively.

The Pipedrive integration tool helps support teams to manage customer details, sales opportunities, and organization information in BoldDesk.

How to install Pipedrive in BoldDesk via Pipedrive Marketplace

Follow the provided steps to install the Pipedrive app:

  1. Log into your Pipedrive account.
  2. Navigate to the Marketplace page and search for BoldDesk.

  3. Open the BoldDesk application, click on the Authorize button, and enter your BoldDesk domain URL, for example, ‘test.bolddesk.com’.

  4. If you do not have an BoldDesk account, please register for one here, and enter the newly created BoldDesk domain URL.
  5. After verifying your BoldDesk domain, you will be redirected to the Pipedrive login page.
  6. Enter your Pipedrive credentials to log in.

  7. Review the requested permissions on the Permissions page, then click Allow and Install to proceed.

  8. Log in to your BoldDesk account using your credentials.
  9. You will be redirected to the Pipedrive Configuration page in BoldDesk.
  10. Select the Pipedrive fields you want to display in BoldDesk and click Next.

  11. Configure the required permissions for the integration and click Save.

How to install Pipedrive via BoldDesk Marketplace

Follow the provided steps to install the Pipedrive app:

  1. Navigate to the Admin menu > Marketplace.
  2. Search and select the Pipedrive app.

  3. Click the Install button to initiate the installation process.

  4. Follow the authorization process to the Pipedrive website to enter your Pipedrive email ID and password. Then, click Log in to continue.

Edit the Pipedrive Configuration

You can customize the fields and control access in Pipedrive to streamline operations.

Configuring field visibilities

  1. Choose up to 10 Pipedrive fields for each category: “Person Fields,” “Organization Fields,” and “Deal Fields.”

Configuring Pipedrive app permissions

  1. You can directly manage access to the Pipedrive app within your organization by setting permissions. You can explore two key options:

    • All: This option makes the app available to all users without consideration of their specific roles or permissions.
    • Specific Roles: This option customizes the app’s visibility, limiting access to users with specific roles or permissions within your organization.
  2. After setting the app permission, click the Save button.

Enhancing access control with specific modules

  1. With the modules in BoldDesk, you can specify the precise location from which you want to retrieve your Pipedrive data.

  2. To view and directly manage the Pipedrive people, deals, and organizations’ information within the BoldDesk app, navigate to the following three modules:

    • Ticket
    • Contacts
    • Contact groups
  3. Once you’ve configured the Target Modules, click the Save button.
