Setup WooCommerce with BoldDesk

WooCommerce integration allows support agents to access customer information and order history directly from BoldDesk. This enhances customer experience and increases productivity.

Generating Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in WooCommerce

  1. Login to your WordPress account and go to WooCommerce -> Setting .
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the REST API section, and then select Add Key.

  4. Choose a user and set the permission to Read/Write.
  5. Click Generate API Key.

  6. Once the Consumer key and Consumer secret were generated. Copy them for configuring WooCommerce app in BoldDesk.

Install and configure WooCommerce app in BoldDesk

  1. Go to Admin -> Marketplace.
  2. Search for and select the WooCommerce app
  3. Click the Install button of the WooCommerce app.

  4. Configure Account - Enter the WooCommerce Store Name, Store URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret and then click Verify & Continue.

  5. App permissions allow you to manage access to integrated applications within your organization. You can control who can read, modify, and use applications based on roles and brands.

  6. Click Save.

How to connect multiple stores

To add multiple WooCommerce stores in BoldDesk, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce and click Manage.
  2. Click Add Store.

Editing the details of WooCommerce store

Follow these steps to edit a WooCommerce store:

  1. Go to Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce and click Manage.
  2. Click on three dots under the Action column and select Edit to open the store’s edit page.

  3. Modify the store details on the Edit Store page.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting WooCommerce store

Follow these steps to delete a WooCommerce store:

  1. Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce > Manage.
  2. Click on three dots under the Action column and select Delete.

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Delete to delete the WooCommerce store.

Deactivating WooCommerce store

Follow these steps to deactivate a WooCommerce store.

  1. Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce -> Manage.
  2. Click on three dots under the Action column and select Deactivate.

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Deactivate to deactivate the WooCommerce store.

Activating WooCommerce store

Follow these steps to activate WooCommerce notification:

  1. Click Admin -> Marketplace -> WooCommerce -> Edit.
  2. Click on three dots under the Action column and select Activate.

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, Activate to activate the WooCommerce store.
