Configure WhatsApp in BoldDesk

The following are steps on how to configure WhatsApp in BoldDesk:

  1. Sign into BoldDesk.

  2. Click Admin > Chat > WhatsApp.

  3. Click the Configure option to integrate WhatsApp with BoldDesk.

  4. After clicking Configure, a pop-up asking for the App Id, App Secret, and WhatsApp Token, will appear. Provide the values and click on Verify and Continue.

To get the values for App ID, App Secret, and WhatsApp Token, you have to set up WhatsApp in Meta. To learn about how to set up WhatsApp in Meta, click here.

After verification is successful, BoldDesk will provide the Webhook URL and Webhook Token.

  1. Copy the Webhook URL and Webhook Token and proceed to configure them on the Meta developer’s website. Click Save. The WhatsApp will be configured successfully.

Configure the WhatsApp account

Follow the given steps to configure the WhatsApp account in BoldDesk:

  1. Click Admin > Chat > WhatsApp > Manage.

  2. Click Add account.

  3. Enter the Name.

  4. Enter WhatsApp Business ID and phone number ID that you copied from the Meta developer site.

  5. Click on Verify and Continue.

  6. Enable the options below based on your requirements and click the Save option.
