How to Change the Primary Language in the BoldDesk Portal

To change the primary language on your BoldDesk portal, follow the steps below:
- Go to Admin > Settings > Language.
- In the Primary Language dropdown, select the desired language from the available options.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
You can change the primary language only if multi-language support has never been enabled. Once saved, the change takes effect immediately and updates the portal instantly.
- If multi-language support is turned off, changes may take up to 20 minutes to appear.
- If multi-language support is enabled, the primary language setting is locked and cannot be changed from the portal.
In such cases, to update the primary language, you must create a support request by emailing support@bolddesk.com. Please specify the language you wish to set as the primary language, as it cannot be changed by the customer. This change applies only to the portal’s primary language setting.
