How to Close a Ticket from the Customer Portal

BoldDesk allows customers to manage their support tickets directly from the Customer Portal, including the ability to close tickets once their issue has been resolved.
- Log in to your BoldDesk Customer Portal.
- Navigate to the Tickets section.
- Open the ticket you want to close.
- Customers have the option to close a ticket by entering a response and then selecting the Update and Close option, or by closing the ticket from the ticket details page.
The screenshot illustrates the various steps discussed above.
- You can restrict customers from closing tickets by adjusting this setting in the admin configuration. For additional details on how to prevent customers from closing tickets, please refer to this article.
- Only requesters who are logged in are able to close tickets from the customer portal.
