How to Edit Published Articles?

In BoldDesk, you can edit the content of the already published articles. The edit option helps to update new content in the published article.
Article Edit
Follow the given steps to edit an article:
- Click the KB Module in the left menu.
- Select the published article that you wish to edit.
- Navigate to the Article View page and click the Edit option.
- You can modify the following fields on the Article edit page:
- Title
- Slug Title
- Description
- Editor Type
- Attachment
- Status
Auto Save
Once you start editing, Auto Save will happen with some frequency to draft your content. This will help to avoid unexpected data loss.
Status Transition
The following status transitions are possible when you are editing an article:
- Save as Draft – You can save the changes as a draft before publishing it.
- Publish – You can directly publish the content.
- Unpublish – You can unpublish the published article.
If you want to revert your current changes, you can click the Discard button. This will discard all your current edits.
