Knowledge Base Article Insights
Knowledge base article insights help you understand the article metrics and monitor the analytics details for articles.
You can see the article insights on the article details page.
The article insights have the following metrics:
- Total Views
- Total Likes
- Total Dislikes
- Total Comments
- Details about Creation
- Details about Publish
Total views
The number of times a particular article is viewed by unique users. The article’s view count will only be counted as one, regardless of how many times a user views it in a day.
Total likes
The total number of upvotes by users on the particular article page.
Total dislikes
The total number of downvotes by the users on the particular article page.
Total comments
The total number of comments added by individual users on the particular article page.
Note: All the counts for the above metrics are language-specific.
Article creation details
This shows information about the author of an article, along with the date and time of its creation. These details are displayed under the Article Created By section.
Article publication details
This shows information about the person who published the article, along with the date and time of its publication. These details are displayed under the Article Published By section.
How to check an article’s insights
Follow the given steps to check an article’s insights:
- Select the KB module in the left panel.
- Select any Article on the list page.
- Select the Insights tab on the article details page.
