How to Track Tickets Effectively by Using Tags and Filters

Tags are an essential organizational tool that streamlines ticket management processes, making it easier to categorize and retrieve information. In this article, you can explore how to add tags to tickets and how to use them for the filter process and manage your ticketing system.
Adding a tag
Tags serve as labels that can be attached to tickets, providing a quick and easy way to categorize them. To add a tag to a ticket, follow the given steps:
- Go to the ticket detail page, where you can access all the information related to the particular ticket.
- In the ticket detail page, find the Details section, which contains information about the ticket.
- In the Tags field within the Details section, simply type the name of the tag you want to attach to the ticket. When you enter a new tag, it will be labeled as New.
Filtering tickets using tags
In both basic and advanced filters, you can select a specific tag to retrieve the tickets. Refer to the screenshots below.
